I purchased a stanchion tube for my car. Does anyone know what type of brackets are used to attach this to the car? I was unable to find the brackets when I bought the tube. I would like to know how it is attached and where to find the parts. Thanks.

I am still trying to figure out how to attach the chrome tube for the wiper. Does anyone have a 36 Phaeton that they can take a picture of the driver's side window post with the wiper tube attached. Thanks

Here is a photo of a 1936 Phaeton stanchion and vacuum tube that I took at the 2006 National in Tacoma. It's rather poor quality but I think you can make out the clips and screws. I don't know of a source for these clips. Jim Wilson

Thank you so much for the picture. This helps out a lot. The clips look like the type used to hold hydraulic brake lines. Thanks for your fast response.
