Topic: 1936 1/2 T Pickup Radiator Question

Just received my Walker Radiator part# FH-C-436-1. The top inlets are 1 1/4" the lower outlets are 1 3/4". The Radiator that came out of the truck has both inlets/outlets measuring 1 3/4" and it mounted to the grille perfectly therefore seeming likely to be the original. Anyone know if the Walker sizes are proper?

I would call the vender you bought the radiator from,
or Walker. [ maybe it was made for a different engine then the flathead ] and ask them, seems like a lot of trouble to hook it up as present, adapters will not look original,
lets hear how you made out,
37RAGTOPMAN and KEEP on FORDIN,,,!!!!

I called the vendor Walker Radiators and explained the situation. They were very gracious and will take back the first delivery and send me another one.

You should have attached the picture of the front bumper here, so responses could see that you have a 1949 or later engine in a 1935/6/7 1/2 ton pickup. Not sure, but the hose sizes maybe different for a 1935/6/7 radiator than they are for a 1949 and later.

With that, you may have ordered the wrong replacement radiator for your configuration.
