Leanard I have a 48 and went in to change the fly wheel because of missing teeth. I bal fly new wheel and pressur plate an replaced everthing except the universal joint.pull the car out and it started shaking real bad.went back in again change the universal joint and now my car runs as smooth as a new car. hope this help,s

There is a spacer between the u-joint and the transmission. If you leave it out, it will shake, if it turns at all.
