Topic: Transmission Adapter

Does anyone know of a transmission adapter to mount a Chevy S-10 Borg-Warner T5 manual transmission behind a 1937 Ford Flathead V-8 Engine that is properly machined and has the dowel holes in the correct locations to center the transmission on the engine? I have had experience with the Speedway adapter and the dowel holes were not correctly located. When Speedway checked the Offenhauser adapters they had in stock they found that none of them fit properly either. Is there any other source that offers an adapter that allows the transmission to be properly located and centered on the engine? Any help or information you provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Try Gene Benson at Flat-O Products in Salem, Oregon. Ph# 503-364-2934. He makes adapters for a C-4 to a flathead and also makes the adapter for the 5 speed to a flathead. I used his C-4 adapter and it fit perfect. He has good products and good tech advice.
