high quality glass company with experience in antique car replacement glass said 7/32 is as close as can be supplied...true? or does someone like Sanders supply true 1/4?

Parrish Just checked all of the glass in my wagon except the windshield and the upper tailgate. All of this glass is original and has late 41 date bugs. The thickness varies with much of it .200 thick, some at 7/32 (.218), and the vent windows at around .235. None of it is a full 1/4 (.250). Ted

I recently received a piece of glass from Sanders. It was about .220". Being so thin caused a bit of a problem with the installation. All of the original pieces of glass I have around here vary between .246" and .252". I use a local glass shop for most of my needs. he is able to supply 1/4" (nominal) glass with no problem.

Thanks! I pulled the rear,quarters,windshield, but having some trouble with the door glass. Do you pull the entire mechanism or just the glass? I removed the 6 screws, but window crank clearance for pulling the entire mechanism seems to be a problem...?
