Topic: New Member - Late Introduction FRITZ47

Just want to introduce myself as a new member. While owning many Ford flatheads in my younger days, I recently purchased a nice 1947 Ford Convertible. I also own a restored 1951 Ford Stake with only 23,000 original miles.

See www.tpcarcollection.com for pictures of all except my recently purchased 1958 Lincoln Continental 2-door hard top. (I posted a picture of the Lincoln in the Lincoln Forum).

Man that is a nice spot. Some beautiful rides there too. My favourites were the 47 convertible and the 29 Pickup. If I am ever in or near Ohio I will make it a point to stop in.

Cheers, Scott.

Fred, My compliments on your well rounded collection of beautiful cars. As a purist myself, I nevertheless appreciate a nicely done Custom, as do many of us here on this Forum. Of your Customs, I drooled the most over your copper/cream Safari.

Thanks for the compliment on the '55 Safari - I have two of them - one is original and the other is a resto-rod with original look, except for the wheels and interior. I would post a picture, but since this is a Ford Forum, will stay with Fords.

Attached is a picture of my Model A Pickup, which was done up as a Firestone Service Truck by the previous owner. All of the members of this forum are always welcome to see our car museum in Canfield, Ohio. We currently have space for about 15 cars and are currently in process of expanding into another building.
