  Help

1. Is there a quality set of running board covers? If so, where can I purchase?

2. What rubber was used in rumble seat lid opening? Was it just at the 2 top corners or what? Is it available and by whom?

Thanks

Drake's running board covers are the best for a do-it-yourself.

That said, replacing the covers is a difficult job to get right. The boards have to be surgically clean and so do the covers, all imperfections in the boards must be removed or they will show through the cover.

I had my running boards done by Hunley Acuff in GA.

and there is a service in Canada

but his service is more expensive.

I can recommend Mr. Aucuff's work. My running boards look just like they came from the factory. I have seen other Mercury's with his work as well as several Buicks.

  Tom,

Thank you for the information. I talked with Mr Acuff this morning (Saturday) and will send him my boards.
