i changed plugs in my car and 4 of the 8 plugs, are making a sparking sound when the engine is going, and a small spark at the top of the plug, could somebody tell how tho correct this, thank you, bob

HOW OLD is the ignition wires. are they the original type wires, what kind of spark plugs, did the old plugs also do this ? sounds like you have loose connections on the top of the plugs and the spark is jumping, lets hear how you made out, the more you describe the easier it is repair the problem, 37RAGTOPMAN an KEEP on TRUCKIN,,,,!!!!

there was no problem with the last set of plugs, and the wires were new in about 1950, i am going to check the connections again today, the plugs are champion
