Now I cant seem to find the horn rod for sale anywhere.. I'm so mad. They said they would pay for it.. so does anyone have one? or know where I can find one? pleases Help!

If I remember right, I got my horn rod for my 1934 Ford pickup (same as a car) from Little Dearborn Parts, Inc. 1-612-331-2066. It is parts no. B-3616, at 39.95 . It was an easy install, even though I had to disconnect the steering column from the dash and loosen a bolt or two from the frame where the steering gearbox is attached.
There are other sources that may be just as quick and reliable. George Maher

  George....
I just wanted to say thank you for the response. I called deerborn and ordered the horn button horn rod combo... $125.00 The shop wont be happy they have to pay for it though.
Thanks Again!

Nate, your shop won't be disappointed at all. They already padded your bill to cover the damage before they told you they broke the rod. They'll just cry that they aren't making any money on the job to offset any other complaint you might have when you pick up the car. That's the real world!
