mabe some one can tell me how many amps a 1948 ford V8 heater will pull with a 12v system? am needing to get a voltage drop resister.Is it 4 or less. thanks again for your help.

Motors typically draw considerable current, particularly when first started, so a heavy duty reducer is required. You can find a 12 amp 12 to 6 volt reducer on page 232 of the C&G catalog as item number B-10606, about $30. 800/266-0470
