I just registered on this site today but I've been reading the archives for a while. I happened upon one regarding wiring a heater switch. I'm working on a 47 Ford, 1 and a 1/2 ton flatbed and my heater switch was not wired, just four wires dangling under the dash. From the responses by John and Ted I was able to identify the wires and wired it up per their instructions and to my delight the heater fan worked just as it supposed to. Both speeds and in both directions. This forum seems to have a wealth of information and the people willing to help and I appreciate that. I'll have a some questions as this is my first flathead. Jack, Thanks for the thanks. I had struggled with my heater switch and wiring, so after finally getting it right, I was able to help someone with the same problem. Now you have been helped by your archives search of the original post. John This message was edited by oldford2 on 9-9-10 @ 2:57 PM
