Topic: Sediment Bowl vs Inline Filter

Which is more efficient? I may place an inline just before the pump. Can't cut the line due to the line that is attached for the gas gauge. Currently have a Stromberg 97, no bowl.

I believe the inline filter will be more efficient for sure if originality is not an issue.

I agree. Use a fuel resistant hoes before and after the filter in place of the original flex line. This way, it can be changed off with the original for the Concourse. Before is also preferred due to the valves in the pump.

There is no question that a modern fuel filter is better than a sediment bowl with a screen.

An inline filter can be installed in place of the flex hose.
