Topic: 41 exterior paint code/formula - DuPont two-stage?

ford1941    -- 08-31-2010 @ 8:02 AM
I am getting ready to paint my 41 Ford the original 1941 Mayfair Maroon (code M-3927 per EFV8 club; code 50012 per PPG) and only have a color chip in a book to reference. Does anyone have a DuPont paint code or formula that can be used to match this color to a modern two-stage ChromaBase paint? To date, I have only been able to locate a single-stage Centari code for this color? Thank you.

Thank you for the potential contact. Unfortunately, I do not know Sonny, and with the info you provided I was not able to locate him. Could you possibly give me a bit more info about where/how I could find him. Thank you.

  ford1941,

I'm sure MichV8 is referring to TCP Global in San Diego. Phone 858-909-2110.
