Topic: water circulation for a 32 Ford V 8 Engine

Is there a product (12 volts) with high enough flow to sub for the centrifugal belt driven water pumps on the engine. I want all peripherals to run on 12 volts. It looks cleaner and makes repairs easier or so I have led myself to believe.

IMHO an electric water pump would just add complication and problems to a trouble free area. The belt driven water pumps are very reliable and are your best bet.

An electric pump that would deliver enough circulation would soon overwhelm an alternator and battery, leaving you on the side of the road.

You can Google 12 volt water pumps to see the various suppliers and the types of water pumps out there.

Was wondering what kind of problems you are having,to go to those extremes of adding electric pumps?
12 volt battery,12 volt gauges,ALT,STARTER,wiring, switches relays, temp senors,ETC ETC ETC, that make it easier ???
using the old system is the easiest to replace the pumps, belts and has worked for the last 80++++ years,
why the up grade ???
just my 3 cents 37RAGTOPMAN and KEEP ON FORDIN,,,,!!!
