Can anyone tell me if USA built phaetons in 1935 All had wood framed doors or was there some steel framed ones. Up until recently I thought that only cars exported down under from Canada had wood frames, but earlier this year I saw photos on ebay of a phaeton LHD in the US that was in pieces. The blurb said that it came with new wood kit. I also note that new wood kits are available in the US .I would like to know the history on this if anyone can help. thanks
