Just need confirmation that lifters on 1937 21 stud engine should be set at : intake 10 to 12 thou exhaust 14 to 16 thou. and is slightly on the "looser side" better? Thanks Rudy

An old old Motor's Auto Repair Manual that was published in 1949 recommends the following tappet clearances for your 1937 21 Stud Model 78 Engine: Intake - .012" Exhaust - .014" Looser will produce more valvetrain noise.
