Is there a heavier shock absorber oil that I could use during the hot summer months that would stiffen up the shock absorber action? I have adjusted the shocks for the summer months and they are still soft. Thank you

You could try motorcycle fork oil, come in many different weights,
it might just be the ticket, non the less well worth a try .
hope this helps, 37RAGTOPMAN an KEEP ON TRUCKIN,,,,

That is usually a sign that the shocks need to be rebuilt. When new, the lever shocks used a proprietary oil mixture that is no longer produced in its original form. A good source of info on your shocks is Apple Hydraulics, 800/882-7753.
