1939 V8 Deluxe Fordor: I am looking for clips holding the chrome bar trim piece on the hood just below the Ford Script. The piece has metal posts that go through holes in the hood and are somehow fastened in place with some sort of clip. Anyone know what I need and possible supplier? Steve '39 DeLuxe Fordor

I don't think that is the product that I need for this. Actually, I just found on Amazon, the product that I believe will do the trick. It is known as an internal tooth starlock washer. Steve '39 DeLuxe Fordor

Steve, you might find those washers at your local hardware store. the trim on my '37 uses a common small flat washer. the washers you speak of as well can be found there. Tom.
