This building has been known by different names over the years. For awhile it was called the EEE (Engine & Electrical Engineering) Building and later the POEE (Powertrain Operations & Engine Engineering) Building. https://www.sae.org/news/2024/09/ford-engineering-lab

I remember it being called the Triple E building. And, if I remember correctly, once the Twin Cities Ford Assembly Plant was finished, Henry Ford liked the design so that the Triple E building exterior was very similar to the Twin Cities Ford Assembly Plant.
