  This building has been known by different names over the years. For awhile it was called the EEE (Engine & Electrical Engineering) Building and later the POEE (Powertrain Operations & Engine Engineering) Building.

  I remember it being called the Triple E building.

And, if I remember correctly, once the Twin Cities Ford Assembly Plant was finished, Henry Ford liked the design so that the Triple E building exterior was very similar to the Twin Cities Ford Assembly Plant.

(note: the picture is from 1927, but the Twin Cities Plant was finished in 1925)
