Topic: 1933 License Plate Mount

Curious how original plates are mounted without drilling holes in the bottom of the plate. The original plates have the mounting holes at the top, while the bracket has the mounting holes positioned at the bottom. Is there an alternative plate bracket?

All my 1934 Fords had license plate brackets that
had small bolts through the bottom and a clip that secured the top of the plate.
I've seen license plate collections and see homemade
holes in the bottom of many of them. I guess license plates were designed by bureaucrats.
The Florida 1934 & 35 tag had holes at the top covered by a slide in weight and year strip to make them theft proof. It also made them un-mountable. So everybody drilled holes in them.
I would guess the 33 is the same.
