Topic: Bolt Identification

  Trying to find the original bolt specification for the bolt that attaches the inner front fender panel to the front fender bracket. Maybe the picture will help the experts.

  The "green book" isn't specific regarding the bracket bolts (see pg. 599). There are three sizes used in that area: 1/4", 5/16", and 3/8". The threads are 24 pitch for most, with length to accommodate the position. Thus, you can determine the size of the hole and the length required to hold the parts together and leave room for the nut and a common lock washer. The 24 pitch was often used by Ford, but would be concealed in position, in any case.
