Topic: '33 Floorboard bolt

I'm ready to install a new rubber floor mat in my Tudor. Before making the necessary cuts for the seat mounts I'd like to know the purpose of a bolt that sticks up about 1" above the floor pan on the drivers side under the drivers seat. It's located about half way between the drivers front seat mounts. On the underneath it's held in place by a castledlated (sic) nut.

Thanks in advance for your help.

A photo of your area under the seat could help

Figured it out! Appears to be seat adjusting stop. Previous owner had the seat moved back about 4" aft of stop. I'll have to continue doing that as well because I really don't fit even with the stop in the most aft stock position. I guess I could move the stop but why bother. People must have been a whole bunch shorter back then.
