I have a Monroe rear shock kit for my 48 Ford Conv. Assembly 13004 Unit # K-11149, bracket # 11310. Will these fir my car?? Also does anyone know how they attach??? Thanks for any Help.

eve, I had an aftermarket Monroe shock kit for the rear of our 46 and gave up on it. The upper brackets clamp on the cross member and I had interference with the tank. No problem with the lower brackets. However, the shocks are at too much of an angle. I had my lever shocks rebuilt and they work great Now, Steve, you had asked last week about front shocks and got some help but never responded how you made out? John

TO oldford2 I had a machine shop make a bottom stud. A little priceyy but atleast I had one to go by. Will try to put together next week. I'm using NAPA Shocks.
