I'm replacing my 32 trans with a 39 and am looking for suggestions on how to support the parking brake support that attaches to the original shifter housing. I have seen the use of a bracket mounted to several of the top attachment bolts. Maybe one of the aftermarket hot rod shops can direct you better.

To provide a mounting point for the hand brake support, fabricate a bracket from three pieces of angle iron. Two short pieces will bolt to the top of the transmission and be held in place by longer screws which mount the top cover to the transmission housing. These short pieces will bolt to a longer piece of angle iron that will provide the mounting point for the hand brake lever.

Mine is held on with a couple of simple angle iron brackets but someone makes the bracket you are looking for, try posting your question on HAMB(https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/forums/the-hokey-ass-message-board.5/) and fordbarn(https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=4).
