Hello my temperature gauge no longer goes to the hot position when the key is turned off it is only about 3/4 way now do you think it’s the gauge or the temperature sensors that are bad.When the car is running the gauge is not to its normal position what do you think the problem is?, Thanks John

I have no expertise with gauges, but logic tells me that the problem is in the gauge itself. When key is off, the sender has no effect. I would guess gauge is probably dirty, and someone who restores gauges could get it working like new.
