Does the wiring for the brake lights run through the headlight switch housing? Thanks...

Not really. They do get their power from there. The wires for the brake light switch are part of the harness that goes to the rear of the frame. Harness 68-14450 Here is a valuable link http://www.vanpeltsales.com/FH_web/flathead_drawings_electrical.htm
