Topic: 1937 Business Coupe Door Scuff Plate Removal

What is the proper way to remove the door scuff plates without destroying them? Can this be done without removing the running boards. I am repairing some rusted floor pans by welding in some replacement panels and if I can get these out, it would alleviate the worry of damaging them in the welding process. Thanks Nate Anello

There is no such thing as a 1937 Ford "Business Coupe".

Three coupes available in 1937:

Club Coupe
De Luxe Coupe
Coupe (also known as a "Standard")
