My Tudor just started to discharge (about 5 A) with key off and no lights etc on. I seem to recall hearing a "pop" the last time I had it on the road. Starts, runs and shows charging when running. Started trouble shooting with disconnecting the generator - no change.. Any advice as to where I should be looking?

Could it be that your brake lights a stuck ON?

Found it!!! Seems the coil spring that retracks the brake pedal broke causing intermediate contact. Hard problem to solve when intermediate.
