Does anyone have information on identifying the correct spare tire bracket for a 1936 Fordor Sedan, (dimensions). I think mine is to deep, as it holds the spare a bit to far away from the trunk, (backside of spare is about 4.5 inches away from the trunk).

This is a guess, but from your photos the spare bracket you have may be from a coupe. Doe it stick out further from the top than the bottom?

I have a '36 Foredoor touring sedan and it has a spare tire mounted with the tire on it. It measures 5.5 inches from the trunk wall. I have a hump back model. My car is a survivor it has never been restored. It is an original, This message was edited by flatfoot on 4-18-24 @ 4:05 PM

On the 35 the brackets are marked with their part number on the inside of the casting.
