What are suggestions for adhesive to fasten running board rubber. Thanks in advance for the replies.

Hello, I would use 100% clear silicone. It has good adhesive qualities, waterproof, easily repealed and readily available. Barney

You MUST clean the rubber very well to remove any remnants of the release agents used in molding. Then scuff the rubber with sandpaper, 120 grit or so. Then wipe the rubber down with lacquer thinner. Use a good, dedicated rubber adhesive. I prefer 3M brand in a quart can. The boards should be free of any paint. Also, be certain to fill any low spots, typically found adjacent to the braces beneath the boards. I prefer All-Metal. Mike "Kube" Kubarth
