Any particular trick to removing & replacing 36 Fordor coil? Am considering having Haney rebuild.

Thanks.

Just remove the screws and lift off the coil. No tricks involved. When replacing the coil, be sure the contact on the bottom squarely lands on the rotor ring. Skip does an excellent job, and returns the coil you sent, something that others didn't always do. Replace the condenser when you reinstall the coil.

when reinstalling try to push the coil down by hand as far as possible and draw the screws evenly, do not force.

Skip also rebuilds the distributer also, if you have not had that rebuilt, you can do both,at same time,
and you will have the peace of mind knowing both are done,
hope this helps 37RAGTOPMAN ,,,,KEEP ON TRUCKIN,,,,
