Topic: Early-8 Club of America 2024 Director Ballots

  What is going on !

I received my 2024 Directors ballot in the mail and Dave Collette's name was spelled incorrectly.

In fact, the spelling did not even resemble the correct spelling of his last name.

Suggest you reprint ballots and re-mail them

Have we forgotten to inspect a document prior to distribution

We are a professional organization and this error is unacceptable

I totally agree with Craig on this issue. This is a professional organization and this type of error should not happen. Aren't the ballots proof read before they go to the printer? As a past President and member of the Board of Directors for many years this error needs to be corrected immediately. If this problem was caused by the printer they need to correct it now and the cost should come out of their pocket. If this error occurred at board level then the V-8 BOD need to rectify this problem. Tom Johnston

Looks like to me his name is spelled just like he spells it. I looked him up in my 2022 Membership Roster. That is the spelling he used then. lt is too late now for a redo.

It is spelled "Collette" in the 2022 Printed Membership Roster.Page 2.

There was a post last night that was taken down that said there would be a new ballot in blue ink mailed. Is that true or do we use the old ballot?

You are not mistaken, as there was a post. A premature post that I was asked to take down until the information is correct and final.

At this point. Just go to a holding pattern.
