CALLING ALL 1949 FORD MOTOR COMPANY VEHICLE OWNERS. It is not too soon to start thinking about the 75th Anniversary of the 1949 model year which will be 2024. If you scroll down on the main page, you will see where the acknowledgement is for the 75th year. YOU........could have your 1949 - Ford, Mercury, Lincoln or Ford truck as a backdrop on the main page. All you have to do is submit a clear 3/4 view digital picture to the web administrator. While I will not guarantee that your photo will be used, I do change them depending on how many I receive. So, before you park your vehicle for the year (for those in the northern climate), get those 1949 vehicles out, find a spot that makes a good back ground (watch out for trees growing out of the roof) and snap that photo. Use the Contact Us link on the left hand main menu -- then click on Email: at the top (no need to fill out the boxes). Looking forward to your submission for the New 75th Year for the 1949 models!! WOW..........my car. Along side the Hyatt (or Edward) Hotel in Dearborn. And it has the front license plate that was lost somewhere in Indiana/Illinois when returning from Auburn 2019. Thank you.

The 49 Ford is the fashion car of the year! Found this in Donovan, Illinois when the dealership closed in the late 80's.

The late Frank Miller's 1949 Ford convertible, as it appeared in attendance at the 2013 Grand National in Lake Tahoe. I believe that this '49 currently resides at our Foundation Museum in Auburn, Indiana. R.I.P. Frank.
