Friend has a stock low mile rebuilt 40 V8. It sat for a while and seased up. When he pulled the rod caps, the bearings crumbled into pieces. No one here knows WHY. Any info is APPRECIATED. Thanks fellas !! Mike

Thanks Lawrie, poor fit and old bearings together makes sence and wouldn't surprise me since my friend did not know who "rebuilt" that engine. Thanks again!! Mike
