I am stumped. The door latch spring is broken (1935 Tudor Drivers Side). What is sold is a yellow spring to replace 35-early 36. It is not correct. When the yellow spring is installed the latch cannot be retracted. I have a yellow Vintique and a NOS yellow spring (both are the same). I have tried a blue spring too. A picture of my latch is posted in the Parts Wanted section. I have sought a NOS latch but have not found one. I am told that there were replacement latches made. The springs may be different for these latches. Do all passenger doors use the same latch? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
