I have been told that my motor
Takes a 18mm diameter spark plug which appears to be correct. The problem I am having is the pitch measurement on plugs appears
To be 1.5, but my head appears
To Need a finer thread 1.25 pitch. Does anyone have any similar issues with what I am describing? Does anyone know where IMay be able to find a plug that would fit? Is there any other solution that I may be overlooking? Thanks for
Any help.

Which engine does your 1937 Flathead have? The 60 HP engine takes a 14 mm spark plug. Champion H10 was installed at the factory.

The 95 HP 21 stud V-8 engine takes an 18 mm spark plug. Champion 7 two piece spark plugs were installed at the factory. Later replacement one piece Champion 7 spark plugs were used as service replacements.

Regardless of the engine you have, you should be able to find spark plugs that will fit from Van Pelt.

Thanks for the responses, it turned out I had dunked
Up threads in the
Heads which I had mistaken for incorrect thread pitch. Chased the threads and plugs are now
Installed. Thanks again
