Do rear armrests for a 40 coupe fit a 40 4 door sedan ?. I have the LB upholstery but car came without arm rest mount

Good morning-- Welcome to The Early Ford V8 Club of America. Photos attached regarding your armrest question. The rear seat armrest has its own, somewhat uniquely designed upholstery panel that fills the space next to the rear seat cushion and below the rear quarter window. The front armrest is mounted in the approximate center of the door's upholstery panel. For future reference, you might want to pick up a copy of the Club's excellent restoration manual "It's Ford For '40". It has lots of photos and info on the interiors for the various 1940 body styles and models. Go to the blue portion of your screen, highlight "Online Store", then click on the "Ford Books" link. Thanks Tom. I actually found pics of your car on the inter web. I have the book and just got it back from a borrower. The book is most useful and answered my questions . Now to try and find the bits to hang the padding and upholstery off.

Glad you found what you needed. The 40 restoration manual is only a starting point. Very glad you were way ahead of me and have a copy of it already in your possession.
