Dis the 36 Model 68 have one or two wipers?

If it is a Standard model it came with one windshield wiper. Dealer options included dual windshield wipers that consisted of a non-motorized right hand wiper connected to the left wiper by a thin rod. Late in the year motorized right hand wipers became standard on all Deluxe models.

Depending on the amount of vacuum you have when you let off the gas pedal, you MIGHT be able to power two wipers, the passenger side being attached to the driver's side by a rod. Some have installed two separate vacuum wipers. Problem with that is, they are not in sync and hit each other. But if you do decide to go with two vacuum wipers, be aware that there is a Left and a Right side wiper, otherwise you will have the hole drilled in the wrong place.
