ndnchf - could you post a part no. Or a link. I can't find any replacement bulbs, much less 6 V on the website LEDlights.com
Then, do the bulbs fit the original sockets? And what reflectors did you use?
Thanks

The head lights are part # 62528. The tail lights are part #95634, these have offset pins. The do make them for parallel pins too so check your tail lights before ordering. They all just replace the original bulb, no alterations needed.

I just corrected the web site name. It is LEDlight.com

Head lights: white 6000K

I had a curious experience. I bought the 6-volt H4 base LED headlight bulbs [Product Code: 65474] and installed one but left a halogen in the other headlight to compare the brightness. The low beam of the LED didn't work. The high beam did. The high and low beams both do work when both LEDs are in the car. But they're nowhere near as bright as the halogens.

And a curiouser experience. The dash lights [also LEDs] are on the same circuit as the taillights. But they light up when I step on the brake. Dim, but on.

"The dash lights [also LEDs] are on the same circuit as the taillights. But they light up when I step on the brake."

That is a symptom of poor grounding at a tail/stop light socket. When the brake light voltage can't get to ground easily, some voltage back-feeds through the taillight filament (or LED array) and into the taillight circuit.

I have no explanation for the headlight issue. LED's are funny animals, above my knowledge.

I wonder, I can't find any fault with the tried and true sealed beam head lights that did an excellent job for over fifty years.
I converted the head lights on my '36 to sealed beams in 1952, shortly after buying the car, they are wired up using a relay and a modern pull switch in lue of the original column mounted switch.
For the first few years i owned the car I did a lot of night driving on rural two lane roads and open hiways, never had a problem, in fact i had a lot of people flash their lights at me because they thought my lights were two bright.
I have read several articles wherein some States are taking the manufactures to task for their headlights being to bright.
