I had to remove both sides of the rear axle housings to have new races installed. Reassembled everything and now it will not shift out of overdrive. Any suggestions?

There may not be sufficient shims on the axle bells. With new races the differential may be too tight binding the gears so they act like positraction rather than differential action. This could also bind the Columbia. WAG
