Hi Guys Can any one tell me what color a 35 accessory banjo steering wheel is(Black like the original wheel or painted to match the dash? or ???) I realize it was not offered by the factory untill 36/but could be a dealer installed accessory thanks all for your input

The banjo type steering wheel did not come out until May 1936 as standard equipment on the deluxe cars... it appears to have been an option prior to that on the '36 cars. I have seen banjo wheels on '36 pickups, and in fact have one I took off of a '36 pickup. Who put it in the pickup is a mystery. It is very unlikely that a dealer would have installed a banjo wheel on a '35 Ford, it is more likely that some down stream owner installed the wheel... If you are going to keep the banjo wheel in your car, paint it a brown color. Bill 36 5 win delx cpe

I agree the wheel was just a glimmer in some engineers eye in 35, I would paint it the standard gray color of the 35 wheel.
