This is kind of long winded but here goes. I do not have the top rail retainers for the seals on my 48 merc convert. I see that some are available from some suppliers. They state that they are 30 inches long. My rails fold with two folds being about 15 inches and the rear looks like it would need to be curved to fit over the rear quarter window. Do I cut them in two, and what about the rear section? I also ordered the rubber seals, and the supplier stated I needed 5 pieces for the entire car. I received the seals and they are also 30 inches long. I have never seen any of these rails or seals installed so am at a total loss as to what I need to do. Can someone clear this up for me? thanks

As I recall those seals fit into a metal channel that is attached to the bottom side of the top rails
