Will a V-8 brake pedal retracting spring work in place of one for a 226H six cylinder engine? The "green bible" gives part # 6HA-2456 for the "H" engine. If not can someone tell me the length of the 6 cylinder spring. Thanks

The floor pedals and master cylinder are in the same location as the V-8 cars. The same spring should work on either car.

I just received one because I thought the same thing. I would have to stretch it about 4 inches. Fairly stiff spring so I'm not sure its going to work.
