once again on the subject of adjustable lifters: as intake just starts to come down(close) I'm measuring (adjusting) my exhaust for .014". When exhaust just starts to close I'm adjusting/measuring my intake at .012".Please correct me if I'm mistaken. First time adjusting rattles on a 41 Ford.

correcting myself: exhaust gap between lifter and valve .016". very tedious and time consuming.
