Topic: 39 Convert Top Bow floor pan under rumble seat

I have 2 questions (for now) regarding the resurrection of my dad's car (that I never saw put together)

1. I got the wood pieces for my 39 Convertible made by Brad Brown from Brads Woodshop. All the woodwork he did for my car is excellent!! The top bow has a thick edge and a thinner edge and I'm not sure which to put forward. Can anyone tell me which way it should be oriented?
2. The floor pan under the rumble seat has a line of little holes that I suspect had some sheet metal attached to keep water from running forward from the trailing edge of the rumble seat. If there is suppose to be something there, can someone please tell me what it looks like? A photo would be even better.

Thank you!
Steve

I think the holes are for a dam to prevent water going into the tool tray.

you are missing the sheet metal section that goes accross, acting like a dam, [ keeps water from running forward into the pass area,
when it drips pass the rumble lid,
my 37 CABRIOLET W/ rumble seat had this
would be pretty easy to make, out of a piece of tin, NO WOOD
sorry I do not have any photos,
hope someone can supply you with more info 37 RAGTOPMAN Maine
