Any recommendations of where one can get a vacuum windshield motor for a 1940 Ford rebuilt?
Thanks - V8JR

  "Clean Sweep" in Oregon.

Have you tried a few drops of oil down the motor's vacuum tube? Often that will free-up an old stuck motor. A few drops of light oil, then gently manipulate the mechanism by hand.

Try installing vacuum line down into a bottle of Marvel Mystery Oil and manually work wipers back and forth to draw oil in.See how it works then!Works wonders with me!If not send it to Ficken.

I have 3 i rebuilt for my 41 ford. Just take them apart and clean and put back together. I happen to have a tool that fits the special bolts although a pair of needle nosed vice grips will work. If you would like me to do yours, let me know.
