Purchased the grill trim kit from C W Moss parts # 48-20001. There is no method that I have attempted, that have these clips fit through the holes in the grill. I have ensured the clip legs will "collapse" beside each other . There are either too big or the holes are too small.. I will include picture below of the 2 old style clips and the 1 new style that I purchased.. I did have the grill re-chromed and did ensured they did not compromise the diameter of the factory holes. Original clips that I saved, still will fit and hold in grill. (but they are a little rusty and don't have enough) In the picture the 2 types of original clips are on the left and the ones are received are on the right. Contact Michael Driskell @ Third Generation Automotive in McMinnville, Tennessee to see if he can help you with some of those original type spring clips as shown in your picture on the right.
