Ford used a black edge sealer on side window glass. What was it? What is used now days to replicate it?

I used an epoxy with black paint added to replicate the black edge. I masked the glass so that there was a little black on the sides of the glass and then applied the epoxy to the edge. It was very time consuming to get it right. A better solution is to buy the black edged glass with the correct bugs from Sanders. They did not have the patterns for my car when I did it. Tom

I used Life Caulk marine sealant on a car years ago. It comes in black.

You would be surprised at how well a felt tip magic marker (a good one with permanent ink) works for this purpose.
