My '37 ford 4 door has a clunk in it. I found it to be the dirve shaft to coupler splines. The last guy that worked on the rear axle, didn't install the two pins in the pinion and the drive shaft. The coupler is toast and so is the drive shaft. I see that I can purchase a new coupler, but am having trouble finding a drive shaft. Any ideas, thanks, Mike

Once you determine what kind of driveshaft you need, you can post an ad for it in the parts wanted section of the classified ads on this website.

My drive shaft is solid, has 6 splines on both ends and is 65 7/8" long. Is that enough info to describe it? Thanks Mike

Thanks for the help. I found a good drive shaft that I can use. Now I have to go through the clean up process and re assembly. Hopefully I can have the rear axle back in the car some time this winter. Mike
