  Fatdog,
What exactly are you looking for? Are you looking for the stock type of generator cutout that mounts on the top of the 3-brush generator that is original to a 1937 Ford? Or are you looking for the regulator that was used on the 2-brush generators beginning with the 1939 Ford Deluxe model?
Please clarify.

It looks like the voltage cut-out and the regulator are both available from VanPelt Sales, LLC. Their website is vanpeltsales.com, phone 1-513-725-9486.
The parts of interest are:
B-10505 Voltage Cut-Out (1928-39) - 6V - 15 amp for $21.00
8A-10505 Voltage Regulator (1939-55) - 6V - 30 amp for $54.00
Hope you are able to get the part you need, get it installed and get your '37 back on the road soon.

I don't know exactly what style generator cutout you are looking for, but I have a new regulator style with a diode (A10505D). I bought one as a spare several years ago from Mac's and never used it. Still in the wrapper. If you can't find one closer to you, I might be able to help you. PM me if you are interested.

Stay Safe!

Thanks everyone for your input . I will try and explain a little better what we require, Ecklers, Macs auto parts and C+G have in there catalogue a voltage regulator that fits on top of the original 3 brush generator and looks for all the world like the original, however they have no stock. Apparently by using this type you can increase the output by moving the third brush eliminating the day/night driving problem (ie- operates as a modern car would )

again thanks for you time and patience

cheers
